'Challenging Nature Project' 2011 - 2012

The Basic assumption for the project is: Societies around the world change nature by force, but nature challenges itself. It adepts itself to it ‘ s own new form.
The absurd example that started the whole idea for this project was during the Olympic Games in Peking in 2008: Chinese men shoot rain clouds in order to have no rain during the games!!
Or in Chernobyl, were people cannot survive and therefore are not able to live there, but new exotic flowers can!!

As an artist we think it is important to show the public what our statement is about this subject. It concerns us all.
Therefore I invited artists from different disciplines, having the same aim, to work together. By showing different points of view from the artists, we can to give the public an ambiguous vision on Challenging Nature.

Interaction and participation with the public during or after a possible exhibition of the created work is something I would like to happen. Par example by inviting them for an open discussion with the artists during the opening.
